I tried using the site, but it was just way too confusing. I couldn’t really figure out where to go or what to do, so it ended up being frustrating

I signed up for my kids thinking it was just a one-time thing, then out of nowhere I got charged again. I don’t remember seeing anything super clear about it renewing. Maybe it was buried somewhere, but If they’re going to take more money, that should be Way more obvious upfront.

I really thought this would be more of a kid-led thing, but I ended up doing a lot of the setup, explaining, and then cleaning everything up afterward. My child was excited at first, which was nice, but then they’d get bored waiting around while I tried to figure out the instructions. Some of the activities were cute, so it’s not like it was terrible or anything, but also wow, this felt like another task for me. We cancelled after a couple boxes.

This has been really useful for our Year 4 lessons. It matches the school topics well, so it’s been easy to fit in without much extra prep lol.

I liked the idea behind this and was hoping it would feel more eco-friendly, but I was kind of disappointed when it arrived with so much packaging. I feel like I keep trying to make greener choices and then somehow I’m still stuck dealing with extra waste. It could definitely be better overall.

I had a hard time figuring out what I was supposed to do next. The instructions felt rushed and carelessly handled, like nobody really checked whether they made sense before sending them out. It was frustrating.

I got this for my nephew’s birthday, and I had mixed feelings. It wasn’t totally awful or anything, and he did check it out for a bit, but it also felt kind of cheap right out of the box. There wasn’t really any nice gift-like presentation either, which made it feel a little underwhelming. He seemed interested at first, then basically moved on quickly. Not the worst purchase ever, but I probably wouldn’t pick it again as a birthday gift.

The magazine showed up later than expected, which was already frustrating. Then when we actually looked through it, the activities just weren’t that interesting, especially for what it costs. I mean, you’d expect something a bit more fun or engaging for the price. I don’t think I’ll be ordering it again...

My kids really do enjoy the magazine, and the ideas are fun. Maybe I’m just not great at keeping track of all the subscription stuff, but we’ve had delivery and account issues pop up more than once. Customer service did get back to us, though not always as quickly as I would’ve liked. It’s definitely not a bad magazine, it just gets a little frustrating when the same kinds of problems keep happening.

Almost every experiment called for extra things we didn’t already have, so my kid ended up sitting around frustrated while I tried to find random supplies. It felt like a basic expectation that most of what you need would be included, especially for the price. Instead it was more like paying for a box plus a shopping list. We cancelled after the first one.

The box came in good shape, and the packaging seemed decent overall. To be fair, I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, but it did the job and kept everything protected.

My subscription wasn’t showing up, which was frustrating, especially since I didn’t want to get stuck paying for something I couldn’t actually use. I emailed support and kept a record of everything just in case, but I still had to follow up a couple of times before I got a proper response.

To be fair, they did fix the problem in the end, so I can’t say it was a total disaster. It just took longer than I expected, and the communication wasn’t very clear along the way. I’d be careful to keep receipts or screenshots if you run into the same thing...

My child really enjoys the science topics and the pictures are great, so there’s definitely a lot of value in it. That said, some of the articles are a bit too advanced for their reading level, and I end up helping more than I expected. Overall, I’d say it’s a good purchase and still fun, but it would be better if it were easier for kids to read on their own

Ordering was really straightforward and checkout was quick with no issues. I think other customers would appreciate how simple the whole process is too.

It looked fun when we first got it, but my 8-year-old lost interest after just one issue. A few parts were decent, but there wasn’t enough hands-on stuff to really keep him engaged. Kind of a bummer because I thought he’d be more into it.

My kid picked up on it quickly—the examples all started to feel weirdly samey, like everyone was cut from the exact same mold. For us, it was a bit of a dramatic letdown because it just didn’t feel as inclusive as we were hoping.

We tried Whizz Pop Bang with my 8-year-old, and the hands-on activities were the best part. It got her off the tablet for a while, and most of the experiments used things we already had around the house, which was really handy.

A few of the instructions felt sorta rushed, and one activity didn’t quite work for us. It’s still a decent magazine and she enjoyed parts of it, but I wouldn’t say every month feels amazing.

My kids have been having a lot of fun with it, and there’s a decent amount included. It’s not the absolute cheapest thing out there, but for what you get, it feels like a solid buy

We had a good time and there were definitely some fun things to do, but I’d just say make sure an adult is paying close attention because a few of the activities felt like they needed a little more supervision than they had.
